Becoming My Partner’s Dream Partner

My wife Jane and I are poles apart. It was incomprehensible what drove us to say ‘I do’ 15 years ago. We led lives where the other didn’t have a place. Then, I attended my parent’s 40th anniversary and heard my parent’s speech. I’m amazed that they’re still in love. Jane never bothered to understand the impact of the speech. Nevertheless, I aimed to celebrate our 40th anniversary.

When we returned home that day and I planned to alter my behavior towards Jane. She was not bad. I became more loving and addressed her with the words I’ once done. She was baffled. I helped her with domestic chores. I shared with her my insecurities and thus became vulnerable. She too reciprocated. We’re looking forward to celebrating our golden anniversary!
