Human brains are pretty complex. Not to mention that by definition computers cannot be concious.

It will eventually be possible to imitate human brains, yes, but we're further away from that than some people seem to believe. Our best bet would be self-replicating machines (like forced evolution -- or selective breeding), but nobody seems stupid enough to risk that.
