Controlling Death - The later consequences

Because of the control of death, many people don't die. The oldest person was born in 2149, and there was a large expansion of the human race in the universe, which brought some serious consequences:
The ressources of our universe, which are limited, are completely depleted, there aren't enough to create new solar systems or to feed the human race.
Scientists predict, that finding a way into other universes in our multiverse will at least take 23 milleniums and it would still be impossible for a living thing, to survive even 1 second. The first universal war is about to begin and as last resort, a group of adventurers were sent into the past, to avoid the control of death by humans, who are hunted by pirates who lust for immortality, which might cause even a greater timeless war if it were to fail.
