Republican Presidential hopeful John McCain announced his intentions of building an additional forty-five Nuclear Power Plants (NPP) in the US, to be finished by the year 2030.

"Each year those NPP's do not emit as much harmful gases as the vehicles on the US roads. Regardless of those advantages we have not built even one NPP in the last twenty years. And our production base for the construction of such facilities is practically lost", McCain had stated.
