New life on earth

The earth’s magnetosphere is under a constant threat from the sun. What if a large solar flare (as large as Jupiter) were to eject a stream of particles which would completely distort it. It would cause complete mayhem and the world would be almost close to extinction. Generally the magnetosphere is known to come back to natural order within a week or so. But what if it doesn’t happen? Then maybe the world will be destroyed. A new breed of living beings will be born who would have genetically modified themselves to radiate electromagnetic waves around themselves thus somehow protecting themselves. This will be the dawn of a new intelligent beginning.
